Zine Submission Guidelines
La Luce Literary is excited to announce that we are accepting submissions for our debut poetry and prose collection, La Lu Li Volume One: Birth, which debuts on April 4th, 2026. For this edition, we will be accepting poetry and prose that further the understanding of the human spirit and promote diversity.

We’re Looking For…

Fresh voices full of artistic merit. We want poems and prose that push against the norm, that dazzle and provoke, while paying attention to subtleties. Free verse poetry, prose with an illustration, rants and contemplations, and any out of the ordinary poetry are welcomed! We love work that provokes thought and awakens the spirit.

We welcome and encourage writers from all backgrounds and experiences to submit their pieces.

Timeline

Submissions are open from May 2025 to Feb 2nd, 2026.

Submissions will be accepted and rejected on a rolling basis until the deadline.

Guidelines
-
Authors may submit two pieces for consideration within the reading/viewing window. Please place the submission directly in the body of the email in order to be viewed. Include a title. No links please.

Submissions should be primarily in English, but some inclusion of words in other languages will be accepted.

A standard, 12-point font is preferred.

Include a short bio (including your rationale for writing, a list of any publication you've been recognized in, and short explanation of who you are). This will be included in the zine if you are chosen.

La Lu Li will publish in physical form.
